Hungarian Jewish poet and journalist, born Kohn Simon in Tass on 19 August 1882, died in Budapest on 27 January 1945. Journalist at Budapesti Napló then editor (from 1930) of the daily Az Est. His poems appeared in the journals A Hét, Nyugat and Új Idők; his first collection, Lamentációk (1909), made him known.
