Shlomo Chaim Perlov founded the Hasidic court of Koidanov in 1833, a branch of the Lechovitch and Karlin-Stolin Hasidisms: he was the paternal grandson of Rabbi Mordekhaï of Lechovitch and the maternal grandson of Rabbi Asher of Stolin. The dynasty later spread to Jerusalem and is now based in Bnei Brak.
