Born in Mogador in 1859, he studied and taught Torah there, then settled in Casablanca in 1931 where he taught at the yeshiva Keter Torah. Returning to Mogador, he sat on the rabbinical court of Abraham Ben Soussan. Author of several works of sermons, Talmudic commentaries, and responsa. Died on 17 Nisan 5719 (1959).
