According to the onomastic dictionary of A. I. Laredo ("The names of the Jews of Morocco"), Shelomoh ben Alzraq, originally from the city of Alzarcon, copied in 1472 an illuminated copy of the Yad ha-Hazaqah (Mishné Torah) by Maimonides for Don Joseph ben David Ibn Yahya, adviser to King Alphonse V of Portugal; the manuscript is kept in the British Museum (British Library), in London.
