Il est l'auteur du célèbre « Siddur Reb Shabsi », livre de prières avec kavvanot (intentions) kabbalistiques, encore utilisé par de nombreux rebbes, et d'un abrégé, « Klaliyus Tikkun ve-Aliyas ha-Olamos ». Enterré à Rashkov.
