Samy Elmaghribi, né Salomon Amzallag en 1922 à Safi et mort en 2008 au Canada, est l'un des grands chanteurs marocains du XXe siècle. Star de la radio et de la scène des années 1948-1956, oudiste et interprète de malhoun et de musique gharnati, il incarne le « moroccanisme » musical au moment de l'indépendance. Émigré au Canada, il y devient hazzan (chantre) de synagogue à Montréal — figure d'un patrimoine musical partagé entre juifs et musulmans du Maroc.
