Robert Assaraf, né en 1936 à Rabat et mort en 2018 en Israël, est un historien et homme d'affaires, ancien dirigeant du groupe ONA. Il fonde en 1996 le Centre international de recherche sur les juifs du Maroc et cofonde en 1999 l'Union mondiale du judaïsme marocain. Auteur de plusieurs ouvrages de référence, dont « Une certaine histoire des Juifs du Maroc », il a mis le savoir historique au service de la mémoire juive du Maroc.
