Rabbin d'origine tunisienne (né à Tunis d'après les hommages recensés), arrivé à Marseille au début des années 1960, il devint rabbin du quartier de La Rose en 1975. Mohel (circonciseur) très réputé et érudit, il est l'auteur de l'ouvrage halakhique « Lev Hanoun ». Il est mort à Marseille en 2022 et a été inhumé en Israël.
