Rabbi of Tunisian origin (born in Tunis according to the tributes recorded), arrived in Marseille in the early 1960s, he became rabbi of the La Rose district in 1975. Highly reputed mohel (circumciser) and scholar, he is the author of the halakhic work « Lev Hanoun ». He died in Marseille in 2022 and was buried in Israel.
