Kabbaliste né à Alep, fils de Rabbi Mordechai Yedid HaLevi et disciple de Rabbi Avraham Ades. Il monte en Eretz Israël en 1890 (Safed), puis s'installe à Jérusalem en 1911 où il est nommé av beit din de la communauté alépine. Il laissa des cahiers de responsa manuscrits et signés.
