Dayan (juge rabbinique) de Sefrou. Sous Moulay el-Yazid (1790-1792), il fut emprisonné avec le dayan Rabbi Shaoul Yeshoua Abitbol à la suite des accusations du gouverneur de la ville, et libéré seulement après le paiement de lourdes amendes.
