Born in Morocco, moved to Israel at age 5; rabbi of the local council of Shlomi and director of the beth-midrash Chaaré Uziel. Sees himself as a continuer of the teaching of Rav Ben-Zion Meir Haï Uziel, whose writings he edits. Researcher of Moroccan Jewish customs.
