Descendant de la famille Hariri (fils d'Abraham ben Phinehas Hariri, qui laissa six ouvrages en manuscrit). Enseignant possédant une grande bibliothèque de livres religieux, il écrivit au moins trois ouvrages, dont « Va-Yivḥar Moshe », publié à Bagdad en 1930.
