Écrivain et poète prolifique, lauréat du prix de littérature du Premier ministre israélien en 2009 ; l'un des principaux écrivains séfarades de langue hébraïque/espagnole, dont l'œuvre explore l'identité, l'exil et la mémoire séfarade (roman « Keys to Tetouan »).
