Region: Cracovie (Pologne), puis Francfort-sur-le-Main (Allemagne)
History register · custodian, not owner
Rabbi first active near Cracow, he emigrated to Germany in 1928 and became rabbi-dayyan in Frankfurt-am-Main. A renowned decisioner, he authored the collection of responsa « Menachem Meshiv ». The second part was printed in Frankfurt in 1938 but the edition, hindered by Nazi persecution, remained unfinished (copy without title page). He was deported and murdered at Auschwitz in 1942.
