Italian rabbi trained at the Collegio Foa in Verceil, son of Rabbi Felice Tedeschi. Rabbi in Nizza Monferrato, Saluzzo, Asti and then Chief Rabbi of Trieste (appointed by Cavour in 1858). A renowned preacher, translator of prayers into Italian.

Rabbin et poète italien ; né à Piova, Piémont, en 1817 ; mort à Trieste en 1870. Il s'établit à Vercelli avec son père (décédé en 1836), qui avait été nommé rabbin à cet endroit ; et en 1838 il se rendit à Turin pour étudier sous R. Hillel Cantoni. Il fut successivement élu rabbin de Nizza-Monferrato, Saluzzo, Asti et Trieste. Ses poèmes principaux furent publiés par Vittorio Castiglione dans le "Yelid Kinnor" (Drohobyez, 1886). Il traduisit du français "Les Prières d'un Cœur Israélite." Marco Tedeschi était célèbre comme prédicateur.
