The greatest philosopher and codifier of Judaism, born in Córdoba. His Guide for the Perplexed achieves the synthesis between Aristotelian reason and Jewish faith. His Mishneh Torah is the first systematic codification of all Jewish law. Physician to Saladin in Cairo.
