Né à Béchar en 1907, journaliste à Oran matin à partir de 1934 (chronique politico-sociale sous divers pseudonymes). Poète, il publia Larmes et sourires (1928), Au rythme de mon cœur (1930) et Jardins en pente (1938, prix Corymbe). Son talent fut salué par Léopold Sédar Senghor et Emmanuel Roblès.
