Jaddua fut grand prêtre du Second Temple. Selon Flavius Josèphe, il est ce grand prêtre qui accueillit avec déférence Alexandre le Grand aux portes de Jérusalem, un épisode que la tradition talmudique attribue plutôt à Simon le Juste. Sa généalogie, telle que rapportée par Néhémie, reste incertaine quant au nom de son père, Jonathan ou Johanan selon les versions.
