Jacobson, Heinrich

Médecin allemand né le 27 octobre 1826 à Königsberg, en Prusse-Orientale, et mort le 10 décembre 1890 à Berlin, docteur en médecine en 1847, Heinrich Jacobson s'établit comme médecin à Königsberg, où il devint privat-docent puis, en 1872, professeur adjoint à l'université, avant d'être élu la même année médecin-chef de l'hôpital juif de Berlin, où il vécut jusqu'à sa mort. Grand clinicien, il publia de nombreux essais sur l'hémodynamique et la pathologie expérimentale, notamment entre 1860 et 1870.

Médecin allemand ; né le 27 octobre 1826 à Königsberg, Prusse orientale ; mort le 10 décembre 1890 à Berlin ; il reçut son éducation au gymnasium de sa ville natale et aux universités de Heidelberg, Berlin, Prague et Halle, dont il sortit avec le diplôme de docteur en médecine en 1847. S'établissant comme médecin à Königsberg, il devint privat-docent, et en 1872 professeur assistant à l'université de cette ville. Élu médecin en chef de l'Hôpital juif (Jüdisches Krankenhaus : Innere Station) à Berlin en 1872, il se transporta à la capitale allemande, où il demeura le reste de sa vie.

Jacobson était un grand clinicien, et écrivit de nombreux essais et ouvrages, particulièrement sur la pathologie expérimentale. Parmi eux se trouvent : « Beiträge zur Hämodynamik » (dans « Archiv » de Reichert-Du Bois, 1860-62) ; « Zur Einleitung in die Hämodynamik » (_ib._ 1861) ; « Ueber die Blutbewegung in den Venen » (dans « Archiv für Pathologische Anatomie und Physiologie und für Klinische Medizin » de Virchow), 1866, 1867 ; « Ueber Normale und Pathologische Localtemperatur », Berlin, 1870 ; « Ueber die Herzgeräusche », « Ueber den Blutdruck in Comprimitirter Luft ».
