Tossafiste actif vers le milieu du XIIIe siècle, élève de Samuel de Bamberg, à qui il succéda dans le rabbinat. Selon Zunz, il serait le père de Jedidia de Nuremberg, actif vers 1270-80, dont le fils Israël fut tué à Bamberg en 1298 lors d'une persécution — et peut-être aussi le père d'Anna, tuée à la même occasion. Ses tossafot, portant uniquement sur Alfasi selon Benjacob, sont cités par Mordekhaï ; certains l'identifient à Israël ben Uri-Shraga, mais Kohen y voit deux personnes distinctes.
