Rabbin italien, éminent talmudiste et adepte de la Kabbale, actif à Reggio Emilia puis à Rovigo à la fin du XVIIe et dans la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle. Il édita à Venise (1744) le « Mafteḥot ha-Zohar », double index du Zohar (index des sujets et index des passages bibliques cités), attribué à un certain Samuel.
