Rabbin italien et cabaliste ; vécut à Reggio Emilia, puis à Rovigo, à la fin du dix-septième siècle et dans la première moitié du dix-huitième. Il était aussi un Talmudiste éminent (voir Lampronti, "Paḥad Yiẓḥaḳ," _s.v._ ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/jewishencyclopedia/chars/V05p430001.jpg)). Adepte de la Cabale, il édita le "Mafteḥot ha-Zohar," Venise, 1744, un double index du Zohar, attribué à un certain Samuel.
