Talmudiste et auteur, grand rabbin de Modène, né en 1724 et mort en 1811. Reconnu comme un dialecticien profond, il reçut de nombreuses questions casuistiques ; ses responsa et novellæ furent réunis sous le titre « Zera' Emet », dont deux volumes parurent de son vivant (Livourne, 1786 et 1796), portant sur le Ora'h Hayyim et le Yoré Dé'a.
