Talmudiste et éditeur italien, né à Rome à la fin du XVe siècle et mort à Ferrare vers 1570, petit-fils du médecin et astronome Immanuel Boneto. Rabbin à Avignon vers 1530, il publia le Zohar à Mantoue en 1536 avant de devoir fuir à Bologne, dirigea l'imprimerie hébraïque de Rome en 1546, puis fut rappelé à Avignon en 1558. Revenu à Bologne dans une grande gêne, il vécut ensuite à Ancône puis à Cesena, d'où Isaac Abravanel l'appela à Ferrare comme précepteur de ses fils ; il est l'auteur d'un recueil de responsa publié à Vienne en 1860 et d'un commentaire, resté manuscrit, sur le « Beḥinat 'Olam » de Jedaya Bédersi.
