Isaac ben Samuel Ha-levi

Rabbin polonais né à Vladimir, dans le gouvernement de Volhynie (Russie), vers 1580, et mort avant 1646, frère aîné et maître de David ben Samuel ha-Lévi, auteur du « Ṭure Zahav ». Rabbin de Chelm dans sa jeunesse puis de Lemberg, il est l'auteur d'un ouvrage en deux parties — un recueil de responsa et des novellæ intitulées « Ḥiddushe Halakot » — publié à Neuwied en 1736 ; d'autres de ses responsa figurent dans le « Ṭure Zahav » de son frère.
