Rabbin de Lemberg, mort à Cracovie en 1799, fils du chef de la yeshiva de Lemberg. Il officia d'abord comme rabbin à Leshnow, en Galicie, puis à Chelm, en Pologne, avant de quitter cette dernière ville en 1776 pour le rabbinat de Cracovie, qu'il occupa jusqu'à sa mort. De ses écrits ne subsistent que deux responsa, incorporés au « Bet Ya'aḳob » et au « Peri Tebu'ah » ; il est également connu par ses approbations à divers ouvrages de son temps.
