Isaac ben Mordecai Gershon

Talmudiste du quinzième siècle. Il fut l'auteur de « Shelom Ester », un commentaire sur le rouleau d'Esther (Constantinople, XVe siècle). Steinschneider, dans « Oẓar ha-Sefarim » de Benjacob (p. 583, No 679), attribue au même auteur les trois œuvres suivantes : « Ketem Paz », un commentaire sur le Cantique ; « Mebaḳḳesh Adonai », un commentaire sur le Pentateuque ; « Mor Deror », un commentaire sur Esther. Mais les deux premiers de ces trois ouvrages appartiennent à Isaac Gershon, le correcteur d'imprimerie de Venise. Fuenn (« Keneset Yisrael », p. 612) considère à tort ces deux auteurs comme identiques.
