Écrivain moral actif à Worms, dont l'activité se situe entre 1460 et 1480 ; il fut l'élève de Moïse ben Éliézer ha-Darshan. Il rédigea en allemand un traité d'édification et d'ascèse, le « Sefer ha-Gan » (Cracou, vers 1580), divisé en sept parties, une par jour de la semaine. Traduit en hébreu par Moïse Saertels puis imprimé à Prague (1597, 1612) et à Amsterdam (1663, 1713), ce texte fut à son tour rendu deux fois en allemand, à Hanau vers 1620 et à Fürth en 1692.
