Poète et théologien probablement espagnol, actif aux treizième et quatorzième siècles, où le patronyme « Zabara » était porté par plusieurs savants. Élève d'Aaron ha-Lévi, mort en 1293-94, et de Meïr Aboulafia, il semble avoir résidé un temps à Montpellier. Il est l'auteur du « Miktab ha-Teḥiyyah », traité sur la résurrection publié à Constantinople en 1569 ; seul un poème de lui a survécu, célébrant l'œuvre de Menahem Meiri de Perpignan.
