Juif espagnol du onzième siècle, ancêtre d'une importante famille de savants, probablement né à Grenade où il jouissait d'un grand respect. À la mort du roi Ḥabus de Grenade en 1037, il prit avec Isaac de León et Néhémie Iskaffa le parti du plus jeune de ses fils, Balḳin, contre son frère Badis, couronné roi en octobre 1037 ; Balḳin s'étant soumis puis ayant été mis à mort par Badis, Ibn Migas et les autres partisans juifs de Balḳin durent fuir et furent accueillis par le roi de Séville, qui l'employa à son service.
