Médecin beni-israël mort le 20 mars 1897, fils de Hacem Samuel, président de l'école beni-israël de Bombay. Après avoir obtenu sa licence de médecine et de chirurgie, il exerça à Bombay et dirigea à partir de 1889 le sanatorium Bohara de cette ville ; il aurait contracté la peste, dont il mourut, en soignant les malades de l'hôpital ouvert au sein de ce même sanatorium. Il siégeait au comité de direction de l'école beni-israël.
