Hiram, ou Huram, est un roi de Tyr contemporain de David et de Salomon. Après la conquête de Jérusalem par David, il lui envoie du bois de cèdre ainsi que des charpentiers et des maçons pour bâtir sa maison, et reste son ami jusqu'à sa mort ; il poursuit ensuite cette amitié avec Salomon, lui fournissant cèdres, sapins et artisans tyriens pour la construction du Temple, en échange de blé et d'huile d'olive, puis, plus tard, de l'or et du bois, contre des villes de Galilée. Selon la littérature rabbinique, certains l'identifient à Hira, l'ami de Juda, tandis que d'autres, distinguant les deux personnages, lui prêtent un grand âge, le faisant encore vivant à l'époque du prophète Ézéchiel.
