Isaac H. Heymann est un chantre et compositeur néerlandais né vers 1834, fils de Phinchas Heymann. Après plusieurs tournées en Hongrie, il officie successivement comme chantre à Filehne, Graudenz et Gnesen avant de devenir en 1856 grand chantre à Amsterdam, fonction qu'il occupe encore en 1903. Il publie en 1898 le recueil Shire Todah la-El, dédié à la reine Wilhelmine le jour de son couronnement ; son fils Karl Heymann est pianiste et compositeur, et ses trois filles, Louise, Sophia et Johanne, sont également musiciennes.
