Alonzo de Herrera, également connu sous le nom d'Abraham Cohen de Herrera, est un kabbaliste né en Espagne et mort à Amsterdam en 1631. Selon D. L. de Barrios, il descendait du célèbre capitaine espagnol Fernandez Gonzalo de Cordova ; représentant du sultan du Maroc à Cadix, il tombe aux mains des Anglais lors de la prise de cette ville, puis se retire à Amsterdam, où il embrasse ouvertement le judaïsme sous le nom d'Abraham et est initié à la Cabale par Israël Sarug. Ses ouvrages en espagnol, restés inédits de son vivant, Puerta del Cielo et Casa de Dios, sont traduits en hébreu à Amsterdam en 1665 par Isaac da Fonseca Aboab, puis partiellement en latin en 1677 par le baron von Rosenroth.
