Poétesse polonaise d'origine juive, parmi les auteurs polonais éminents de sa génération. Elle publia deux recueils avant-guerre et travailla dans le ghetto de Varsovie à l'aide sociale d'Emanuel Ringelblum et aux archives clandestines Oyneg Shabbos. Autrice du célèbre poème « Mały szmugler » (Le Petit Contrebandier), écrit dans le ghetto. Assassinée à Treblinka.
