Henry A. Henry est un rabbin et hébraïsant anglo-américain né à Londres en 1800 et mort à San Francisco le 4 septembre 1879. Directeur de la Jews' Free School de Londres jusqu'en 1842, il compile en 1836 un livre de prières selon les rites allemand et polonais, devient en 1844 rabbin de la congrégation de St Albans jusqu'en 1849, puis émigre en Amérique, officiant à Syracuse à partir de 1851 et à New York jusqu'en 1857, avant de rejoindre en 1857 la Congregation Shearith Israel de San Francisco, qu'il dessert comme rabbin jusqu'en 1871.
