Josué ben Aaron Heller est un rabbin et prédicateur russe né en 1814 et mort à Telšiai, dans le gouvernement de Kovno, le 2 juin 1880. Prédicateur à Grodno pendant plusieurs années, il devient grand rabbin de Palanga, en Courlande, puis de Telšiai, et publie notamment Dibre Yehoshua', ouvrage homilétique et philosophique en trois parties (Wilna, 1856), Toledot Yehoshua', commentaire des Pirké Avot (1866), et Ma'oz ha-Dat, essai défendant la loi orale (1873).
