Gustav Heine, baron von Geldern, est un publiciste autrichien né le 18 juin 1812 à Düsseldorf et mort le 15 novembre 1886 à Vienne, frère de Heinrich Heine. Après l'agriculture, le commerce puis l'armée autrichienne, il fonde en 1847 à Vienne le Fremdenblatt, organe officieux du ministère des Affaires étrangères, reçoit en 1867 l'ordre de la Couronne de fer et est anobli, puis élevé en 1870 au rang de baron sous le nom de sa mère, Geldern.
