Jehiel ben Salomon Heilprin est un rabbin, cabaliste et chroniqueur lituanien né vers 1660 et mort à Minsk vers 1746, descendant de Salomon Louria et remontant, via Rachi, jusqu'au tanna Yoḥanan ha-Sandlar. Rabbin de Glousk jusqu'en 1711, puis de Minsk jusqu'à sa mort, il s'oppose à la casuistrie. Il est surtout connu pour son Seder ha-Dorot, chronique dont la première partie s'arrête à un événement de 1697 et calcule les dates des personnages bibliques ; l'ouvrage fut publié pour la première fois par son petit-fils Juda Löb Heilprin à Karlsruhe en 1769, et réédité à Varsovie en 1882.
