Ḥayyim ben Moïse 'Aṭṭar est un rabbin italien né à Sale, près de Brescia, en 1696, et mort à Jérusalem en 1743, formé par son grand-père, le rabbin Ḥayyim. Il publie Ḥefeṣ ha-Shem, novellae talmudiques (Amsterdam, 1732), Or ha-Ḥayyim, commentaire du Pentateuque très populaire chez les Juifs d'Orient (Venise, 1742), Perot Genousar, novellae sur le Yoreh De'ah connu pour ses critiques du Peri Ḥadash de Ḥizqiya da Silva, et Rishon le-Ṣiyyon, explications sur plusieurs traités talmudiques et sur les Prophètes (Constantinople, 1751).
