Érudit et scribe espagnol du treizième siècle, auteur d'un traité en espagnol sur la préparation de la feuille d'or et des couleurs pour enluminures, ainsi que d'un traité, probablement en hébreu, sur la Massora et sur les lettres couronnées du rouleau du Pentateuque. Steinschneider l'identifie à Abraham ben Ḥayyim, le liturgiste français, mais De Rossi précise qu'Ibn Ḥayyim rédigea son premier traité en espagnol.
