Salomon ben Juda Hanau est un grammairien allemand né à Hanau en 1687 et mort à Hanovre le 4 septembre 1746. Il publie très jeune à Francfort-sur-le-Main une grammaire hébraïque qui critique sévèrement les grammairiens anciens, suscitant un tel ressentiment qu'il doit y joindre une rétractation ; contraint de quitter Francfort, puis Hambourg après avoir critiqué le livre de prières d'Elie et Azriel de Wilna, il séjourne à Amsterdam avant de s'établir à Fürth, où l'opposition de Seligman Grieshaber le pousse à partir pour Berlin puis Hanovre. Il laisse plusieurs grammaires hébraïques, dont Binyan Shelomoh (Francfort, 1708), Sha'are Torah (Hambourg, 1718) et Ẓohar ha-Tebah (Berlin, 1733).
