Wolf Hamburger (Abraham Benjamin) est un talmudiste et chef de la yechiva de Fürth, né le 26 janvier 1770 et mort le 15 mai 1850, contemporain de R. Moïse Sofer, qui le cite dans son Ḥatam Sofer. Il publie notamment Sha'ar ha-Zeḳenim (Sulzbach, 1830) et Simlat Binyamin, en trois parties (Fürth, 1840-41), ainsi qu'une oraison funèbre prononcée en 1825 à la mort de Maximilien Joseph Ier, roi de Bavière. Il voit sa yechiva fermée avec la montée du mouvement réformé, vers 1830, et compte parmi ses disciples Seligman Baer Bamberger, Isaac Löwy et David Einhorn.
