Abraham Halberstadt ben Menki est un hébraïsant et talmudiste allemand mort à Halberstadt vers 1780, élève de Jonathan Eybeschütz dont il défend la mémoire dans une lettre datée de 1770. Auteur d'un traité talmudique resté inédit, le Pene Abraham, il entretient avec son ami le rabbin Jeremiah de Berlin une correspondance suivie, publiée en traduction allemande par Auerbach, dans laquelle il défend en 1774 l'étude des synonymes hébraïques et exprime son admiration pour Wessely et Mendelssohn, tout en reprochant aux rabbins leur ignorance des mathématiques et de l'astronomie.
