Born in Obodivka (Podolia) in 1895, immigrated to Palestine in 1913 (member of Nahalal). Joined the editorial board of Ha-Poel ha-Tsair and then, in 1936, that of the daily newspaper Davar, of which he was editor-in-chief from 1953 to 1966. Recipient of the Sokolov Prize (1960). Died in Tel-Aviv in 1968.
