Né à Obodivka (Podolie) en 1895, immigré en Palestine en 1913 (membre de Nahalal). Entré à la rédaction de Ha-Poel ha-Tsair puis, en 1936, à celle du quotidien Davar, dont il fut rédacteur en chef de 1953 à 1966. Lauréat du prix Sokolov (1960). Mort à Tel-Aviv en 1968.
