Rabbin moravien de la première moitié du dix-neuvième siècle. Haas fut successivement dayyan à Holleschau et rabbin de Strassnitz, Moravie. Il fut l'auteur de « Kerem Shelomoh », novelles sur le Shulḥan 'Aruk, Oraḥ Ḥayyim, Yoreh De'ah, et Eben ha-'Ezer (Presbourg, 1840-46).
