Simḥah ben Joshua Haas est un voyageur et prédicateur né à Dobrovice, en Bohême, en 1710, et mort à Brahilov en 1768, beau-père de Solomon Dubno. Voyageur et prédicateur ; né à Dobrowitz, Bohême, 1710 ; mort à Brahilov 1768. Il était beau-père de Solomon Dubno, et était prédicateur à Brahilov. En 1764 il écrivit un récit de son voyage en Palestine, « Ahabat Ẓiyyon » ou « Sippure Ereẓ ha-Galil » (Grodno, s.d.). Une grande partie de ce livre sous sa forme imprimée fut cependant écrite par le Karaïte Samuel ben David, un voyageur antérieur en Palestine. Haas publia également « Neṭi'ah shel Simḥah », specimens de poésie et de rhétorique hébraïques (Grodno, 1753), et « Leb Simḥah », sur la morale et l'ascétisme (_ib._ 1757).
