Enrico Guastalla est un soldat italien né à Guastalla en 1828 et mort à Milan le 28 septembre 1903. Engagé volontaire en 1848, il participe à la défense de Rome, puis rejoint à Londres les milieux mazziniens avant de revenir en 1859 rallier Garibaldi à Côme. Blessé à la jambe à Volturno le 1er octobre 1860, capturé à Aspromonte avec tout l'état-major de Garibaldi, il reprend le combat en 1866 à Côme, Brescia, Lonato, Salò et Desenzano, se retire de l'armée avec le grade de commandant, et siège au Parlement italien pour Varese.
