Judah Löb Grozovski, fils d'Isaiah Reuben, est un hébraïsant russe né à Pogosti, dans le gouvernement de Minsk, en 1861, formé à la yechiva de Volojine puis à l'Institut des maîtres hébreux de Wilna. Parti enseigner l'hébreu en Palestine, il reçoit en 1896 un poste à l'école agricole de Jaffa avant de rejoindre la colonie de Mikvé Israël. Il publie une série de manuels scolaires, dont Bet ha-Sefer li-Bene Yisrael (Jérusalem, 1891), un cours d'hébreu en trois degrés intitulé Bet Sefer 'Ibri, et un dictionnaire hébreu-russe-allemand, Millon (Varsovie, 1900).
