Gross, Jenny

Jenny Gross est une actrice autrichienne née à Szántó, en Hongrie, formée par Cesarina Kupfer. Elle débute en 1878 au Carltheater de Vienne, se produit en 1880 au Stadttheater puis en 1885 au théâtre de la cour de Berlin, avant de rejoindre en 1889 le Lessingtheater, où elle est encore engagée en 1903, incarnant notamment Madame Sans-Gêne et plusieurs rôles du répertoire shakespearien.

Actrice autrichienne ; née à Szanto, Hongrie. Éduquée pour la scène par Cesarina Kupfer, elle fit ses débuts en 1878 au Carl-theater de Vienne ; en 1880 elle se produisit au Stadttheater, et en 1885 au théâtre de la cour de Berlin, d'où elle se rendit en 1889 au Lessings Theater, où elle est actuellement (1903) engagée. Ses rôles comprennent : _Madame Sans Gêne, Komtesse Guckerl, Niobe, Josephine, Sonja_ dans « Raskolnikow ». _Wolfgang_ dans « Königsleutnant », _Jeanne_ dans « Die Welt in der Man sich Langweilt », _Marianne_ dans « Die Geschwister », _Emire_ dans « Tartüffe », et les femmes célèbres de Shakespeare.
