Fourth Prime Minister of Israel (1969-1974), one of the founders of the state. Born in Kiev and raised in Milwaukee, she embodied Labor Zionism. Her leadership during the Yom Kippur War (1973) and her pragmatic diplomacy left their mark on the history of Israel.
